By accessing and using LawSort ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
LawSort provides cloud-based legal practice management software, including case management, document storage, time tracking, invoicing, and related features ("Service").
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Upload viruses or malicious code
- Scrape, spider, or crawl the Service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
5. Your Data
You retain all rights to the data you input into the Service. You grant us permission to use your data solely to provide and improve the Service. We will:

6. Payment Terms
If you subscribe to a paid plan:
- Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis

- You authorize automatic renewal unless cancelled
- Failure to pay may result in service suspension
7. Trial Period
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No payment information is required. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to continue using the Service.
8. Cancellation and Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. Upon cancellation:
- You will have access until the end of your billing period
- Your data remains accessible for 30 days
- We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
- You may export your data before or after cancellation
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by LawSort and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works.
10. Warranty Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
11. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL LAWSORT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LawSort from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.
13. Data Backups
While we perform regular backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backup copies of your data. We are not liable for data loss.
14. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance.
15. Changes to Terms
We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
